The tVNS® Patient app enables communication with your tVNS® device using Bluetooth. With this application, you can keep an online diary of important data about your health (general mood and comfort status of the patient, seizures if epilepsy, important notes), report your therapy history recorded on your device, and share all records with your doctor with a single click. Wherever you are in the world, therapy monitoring and changes are possible without leaving your home. After downloading the device from the App Store or Google Play Store, you can connect your phone. There are differences between Apple and Android versions of the application. Since Android is a more flexible platform, it allows more types of data to be shared and provides an advantage as it permits use before the country's health system registration. If tVNS is not yet registered in your country, you can download the application by changing Apple country settings to Turkey or EU countries.

Phone brand, memory, RAM, or Android/Apple version affect the connection performance. Phones with high memory and RAM, and the latest version have fewer problems. Try switching the device and phone on and off and reconnect. If your phone's memory is too full, free it. Clear cookies, temporary files from the phone maintenance section. If the first three steps fail, you can try deleting and reinstalling the application

Before deleting the app, click on the "SHARE" icon in the upper right corner and select one of the options to keep a backup of the data. Delete the app. In the Bluetooth connection tab of your phone, delete "tVNS Next Gen" from the list of defined devices. Reinstall the app and complete the pairing steps.

The device has a data capacity of 2500 lines. This means that it can be used for about 2.5 years with regular use. For this reason, it is recommended not to stop and restart it frequently after the session has started. You can use the device with more than one phone. If these phones are in the same environment at the same time, you may experience freezing or confusion with further connections. The cream ensures that the electric current is transmitted throughout the session and prevents skin irritation during the treatment. The gel jar allows the cream to be used in small amounts without drying out. The silicone ring supports the placement of the earphones. The cable clip is an attachment to the garment to support the protection of the headphone cable.

IMPORTANT: Metal heads should never be cleaned with harsh chemicals such as disinfectants. This may cause corrosion of the metal pins and deterioration of the electrode. When cleaning the cream at the end of the session, wipe gently to avoid breaking the cable and metal pins. Before putting on the earphones: Clean the ear with a wet wipe. If pads are used, place the pads on both ends of the electrode so that the metal part is completely covered. Seanslar genellikle ortalama 5-8 saat aralıklarla planlanmaktadır. Ancak gerektiğinde zorunlu münferit değişikliklerde bu süre 2-3 saat olabilir ve bu durumda herhangi bir sakınca bulunmamaktadır.

tVNS'nin mA düzeyi ve artış planı, hastanın toleransına ve terapinin kısa süreli sonuçlarına göre belirlenmektedir. Genellikle başlangıçta 7 günde 100 mikroA artış yapılması öngörülmektedir.

Kulakta tahriş varsa, kızarıklık tam olarak iyileşene kadar sağ kulaktan uyarı verilmelidir.

tVNS sekresyon artışına sebep olmaz. Aksine enflamasyona olan olumlu etkilerinden dolayı sekresyonda zamanla azalmaya neden olabilir. Kış aylarında başlanan terapilerde yaygın olan enfeksiyon bulaşması nedeniyle çeşitli semptomlar tVNS etkileriyle karıştırılabilir. tVNS, beyinde nöralplastisiteyi artırarak algı, konsantrasyon ve motor gelişimine büyük faydalar sağlar. tVNS kullanımı bazı durumlarda (yaklaşık %2-3 hastada) başlangıçta nöbetlerde bir miktar artışa neden olabilir.
